Knowledge (Sources)

This is where genii gets your facts. It's the single source of truth for your assistant. Knowledge comes in three forms, depending on how it's added and how often it needs to stay up to date.

• Static Knowledge

Content you upload once — it's added to genii's knowledge base and stays there until you update it manually.

Supported formats: PDFs, RichText files, CSV, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, website pages, and bulk uploads. You can also add individual URLs or paste content directly.

Best for: product documentation, internal policies, one-time knowledge bases.

• Dynamic Knowledge

Content that updates automatically so genii always has the latest version of your information.

This includes:

• Sitemap — Provide your sitemap URL and we'll re-crawl your pages daily to keep the knowledge fresh.
• Integrations — Connect third-party sources directly. Currently supported: Zendesk, which lets genii pull your Help Center articles automatically and stay in sync as you update them.

Best for: support centers, documentation sites, any content that changes regularly.
